Bear Fat

Bear fat was highly prized by early settlers and Native cultures. Rich in healthy, essential fatty acids and vitamins A, B and E.  This fat is also loaded with minerals including zinc, iron and selenium. It helps us with everything from dry skin to sunburns to eczema and other similar skin ailments. Minor bumps and bruises, arthritis, sore muscles, achy joints and growing pains.

made my triple infused all purpose balm along with a frosting that is blended with tallow, aloe and tulsi hydrosol. The frosting is lightly scented with hints of St. Joan's wort, patchouli, lavender and cardamom. The balm is eo free and so soothing. I blended it with honey and vanilla ghee because it is good enough to eat.

I believe in the importance of honoring the animal by using every part, so I'm glad to be able to put it to good use.
