A blend of jojoba slowly infused with beautiful queen of the prairie blended with tallow made from happy cows, local beeswax, aloe, witch hazel and birch sap. Sparingly scented with organic blue tansy essential oil. It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. Available in a 1oz or 2oz jar. (Please note the jars this batch, have metal lids, not pictured. Thank you!)

I like to think of queen of the prairie as a sister of meadowsweet. The main constitutions are anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Reishi mushrooms are full of polysaccharides, vitamins and minerals. They are great for boosting skin immunity, helping with redness and inflammation while hydrating your cells. Tulsi is soothing, toning and moisturizing and blue tansy helps reduce redness, inflammation and is super healing for your skin. It can help clear clogged pores and in combo with aloe, tulsi and queen of the prairie this face frosting is great for acne prone or inflamed skin. It is also great for healing sunburns and just smells delightful and works great as a daily moisturizer! Hope you enjoy.

Blue Tansy Frosting

I got this Blue Tansy Frosting today and its so decadent. It's high vibrational, yet calming. I love love love this product and all of Mellow Root Herbals products!

My favorite moisturizer!

I was dragging my feet switching to a new moisturizer as my skin is very sensitive and prone to break out when I try new products, but when I smelled Mellow Root at the Farmer's Market I knew I had to try! The scent is sweet and feminine and the feel is moisturizing and thick, it is an especially good winter moisturizer! My previous moisturizer was leaving my nose dry and flaky but since using the frosting I have had smoother and more hydrated skin. The frosting leaves a glossy glow on the face and can go under make up or be used as a nighttime moisturizer, my favorite is using at night on my face and neck. I recently bought my second batch and I am so happy to have made the switch!

I bought one of your body frostings, “healing”, last fall and I am still finishing it because I don’t want it to run out! Your care items are some of the best that I have tried and I really enjoy the aroma-therapeutic aspect of your products. THANK YOU! I catch myself cupping my hands and placing it over my nose and inhaling deeply whenever I need “a moment” :D
