Magnesium Frosting

Magnesium is a mineral that we require for optimum health. We used to get it from our food but with depleted soils and the standard American Diet it is a bit harder to come by these days leaving many of us depleted.  Magnesium helps our bodies with a multitude of functions.   It works with calcium and vitamin d to maintain strong bones. It helps us maintain steady nerve and muscle function. It relaxes our blood vessels making a key in regulation blood pressure and it also helps level blood sugar because it supports your insulin control.  Topically it is most useful for helping with muscle spasms, cramping and soreness.  It's great to soothe nerves and help you gain restful sleep.

I made this frosting initially for myself when I was very pregnant and having trouble sleeping and recently started making it for my children to use at night. Magnesium from the Zechstein sea bed along with a bit of MSM for added uptake.  MSM has it's own list of wonderful things that it helps our bodies with too. The magnesium oil is blended with my usual tallow, beeswax and flower infused jojoba lightly scented with lavender, chamomile and orange it's the perfect cream for bedtime to help you relax and sleep well.

Available in a 1 or 2oz amber glass jar. Enjoy and be well!
