Seasonal Herbal Oxymel

Oxymels are apple cider vinegar and honey based tonics that can be added to water or beverages for an extra sparkle.  Great for getting extra nutrients into your body every day.

Fire for the People (fire cider): This is my spin on the age old folk medicine known as fire cider. I make it differently every time depending on what I have on hand and what I’m intuitively called to use.The base is always raw acv and honey. A delightful daily tonic to give your immune system a loving boost. I like to swig it straight outta the bottle, but can be added to other bevies of your choice, used in salad dressings or marinade or simply added to bubble water. Available in a 5oz amber glass bottle with a metal lid. Ingredients: raw apple cider vinegar*, raw honey**, horseradish*, hyssop*, onion*, lemon*, orange*, lime*, ginger*, garlic*, thyme*, turmeric*, white pepper*, bay leaf*

Goldenrod + Aster: the flowers last hurrah. Not only good for the bees, but a gift for us too. I like to harvest them right before their peak bloom and infuse in raw apple cider vinegar and honey. I find them great allies for cold/flu prevention and they taste delicious in bubbly water.
