What is VITELLUS?

It means yolk! These products are made using egg oil that is made from my very own beloved chicken's egg yolks. My chickens free range eating bugs and wild plants and are fed an organic diet complete with food scraps and sourdough discard. 

Egg oil has been used for centuries to strengthen skin and hair. Animal fats are superior nourishers as they are more bio-compatible with human skin then most plants. Egg oil is useful for healing sunburns and minor burns, eczema, chapped skin and other skin ailments. It is also said to help with thinning hair or hair loss. It is rich in omegas and nutritive to our bodies (inside and out) and it has extensive antioxidants that help balance and protect against free radicals.

Egg oil has humectant properties and delivers your skin and hair with essential, high quality cholesterol. It can help with hyper-pigmentation, reducing wrinkles and quick healing. My egg oil is made in micro batches using about 100 eggs per batch. It is slowly extracted, never heated above 100 degrees celsius, keeping its healing properties intact.

The serum can be massaged into skin or scalp in circular motions. It can be used on hair for shine and frizz control or used as a hair oil for the scalp. The salve and frosting are blended with tallow infused with rosehips, frankincense resin and vanilla making them the ultimate moisturizers for your face and body and can also be used in your hair as gel if desired. These products are safe for all ages but great for damaged, extra dry or mature skin. I always recommend a patch test if you have really sensitive skin. The salve is eo free.
